At this point, we are still recording the loading and departure stations of troop trains that, since October 14, 2022, have been arriving in Belarus from Russia only from the Central and Volga Federal Districts: Selyatino (Moscow Railway), Shchelkovo (Moscow Railway), Nara (Moscow Railway) and Ilino (Gorky Railway).
For example, on October 24, 2022, troop train No. 941 with tracked and wheeled military equipment on flatcars, 25 units in all, was dispatched from Selyatino station (Moscow Railway) to Polonka station (Baranovichi Division of the Belarusian Railway). The troop train arrived at its destination station on October 26, 2022.
The consignor is the Federal State Institution “Joint Strategic Command of the Western Military District”.
Route of the troop train to Polonka station: Selyatino (RZD) – Vyazma (RZD) – Smolensk-Sortirovochny (RZD) – Krasnoe (RZD) – Osinovka (BCh) – Orsha-Central (BCh) – Borisov (BCh) – Shabany (BCh) – Pomyslishche (BCh) – Negoreloe junction (BCh) – Baranovichi-Central (BCh) – Polonka (BCh).
Route length: 908 km.
📌 As we reported earlier, troop trains are routed around large cities to make it harder to identify the military equipment on the flatcars.
This troop train (No. 941), for example, did not pass through Minsk-Sortirovochny station but went around Minsk via: Kolodishchi – Shabany – Aseevka track post – Kolyadichi – Pomyslishche and on to Polonka station (the area is “swarming” with security forces whenever troop trains pass).
