On April 7, 2024, another troop train (VESh) No. 961 (train index: 1682 015 1464) consisting of 51 railcars was dispatched from Zaslonovo station (Minsk Division of the Belarusian Railway) to Osipovichi-I station (Mogilev Division of the Belarusian Railway), including:
- 4 passenger cars (with Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus personnel);
- 4 boxcars (with equipment and ammunition);
- 43 flatcars (loaded with military equipment, the overwhelming majority of which are BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles).
As in the previous instance, the troop train contained military equipment and personnel of the 19th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade. Information about the 19th Mechanized Brigade can be found at the link.
🕙 Departure from Zaslonovo station – April 7, 2024 at approximately 05:30 (here and below – Minsk time);
🕙 Arrival at Orsha-Zapadnaya station at approximately 08:30 (locomotive change and locomotive crew change);
🕙 Departure from Orsha-Zapadnaya station at approximately 09:30;
🕙 Arrival at Mogilev II station at approximately 11:00;
🕙 Departure from Mogilev II station at approximately 16:30;
🕙 Arrival at Osipovichi-I station – April 7, 2024 at approximately 19:00.
The troop train traveled from Zaslonovo station to Osipovichi-I station using diesel locomotive traction.
Route of the troop train to Osipovichi-I station: Zaslonovo → Orsha-Zapadnaya → Shklov → Mogilev I → Mogilev II → Drut → Osipovichi-II → Osipovichi-I.
As a reminder, the training ground of the 51st Artillery Brigade (Repishche military training ground) is located near the city of Osipovichi.
As a reminder, we previously reported the dispatch of three troop trains from Zaslonovo station as part of the “combat readiness inspection of formations and military units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus” to the following stations:
- March 13, 2024 to Oshmyany station (22 km from the border with Lithuania). The troop train contained military equipment and personnel of the 1st Separate Mechanized Battalion of the 19th Mechanized Brigade (military unit 14398) and the 4th Separate Tank Battalion of the 19th Mechanized Brigade (military unit 22092);
- March 24, 2024 to Lesnaya station. The 230th Combined Arms Training Ground of the Western Operational Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus is located near Lesnaya station (Brest Division of the Belarusian Railway);
- March 25, 2024 to Osipovichi station. The troop train contained military equipment and personnel of the 19th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade.
