Arrival of Russian Armed Forces Military Personnel and Equipment in Belarus Continues

Currently we continue to record loading and departure stations for troop trains arriving since October 14, 2022 from the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus exclusively from the Central Federal District and the Volga Federal District: Selyatino (Moscow Railway), Shchyolkovo (Moscow Railway), Nara (Moscow Railway), and Ilino (Gorky Railway).

For example, on October 24, 2022, troop train No. 941 with 25 units of loaded tracked and wheeled military equipment on flatcars was dispatched from Selyatino station (Moscow railway) to Polonka station (Baranovichi branch of the Belarusian railway). The troop train arrived at the destination station on October 26, 2022.

The consignor is the Federal State Institution “Joint Strategic Command of the Western Military District.”

Route of the troop train from Selyatino station to Polonka station

Route of the troop train to Polonka station: Selyatino (RZD) – Vyazma (RZD) – Smolensk-Sorting (RZD) – Krasnoe (RZD) – Osinovka (BelZhD) – Orsha-Central (BelZhD) – Barysaw (BelZhD) – Shabany (BelZhD) – Pomyslische (BelZhD) – Negoreloe-Junction (BelZhD) – Baranovichi-C. (BelZhD) – Polonka (BelZhD).
Route length: 908 km.

📌 As we reported earlier, troop trains are routed to bypass major cities to complicate the identification of military equipment on flatcars.
Thus, this troop train (No. 941) did not pass through Minsk-Sorting Station, but bypassed the city of Minsk along the route: Kolodishchi – Shabany – Aseevka track post – Kolyadichi – Pomyslische and further to Polonka station (this area is “swarming” with security forces during the movement of troop trains).
