According to information from our sources and analysis of current activity on the Belarusian Railway — another shipment of aviation munitions to Belarus is planned in the near future by rail.
This is indirectly confirmed by the temporary tightening of security requirements at the Baranovichi (NOD-2) and Vitebsk (NOD-6) divisions: employees have been instructed to exercise heightened vigilance regarding unauthorized persons and atypical potentially dangerous objects.
According to our information, during the period from June 14 to June 30, 2025, cargo classified as hazard class 1 — “explosive materials” will be transported by rail from the territory of Russia to the territory of the Republic of Belarus, consisting of aviation weapons — aerial bombs and missiles of various types.
This shipment was approved by the Military Transportation Directorate of the Republic of Belarus (VOSO RB) in late May 2025.
The destination stations for these cargoes are:
- Lida (Baranovichi Division of Belarusian Railway) — near which the Lida military airfield is located, where the 116th Guards Attack Aviation Base is based;
- Prudok (Vitebsk Division of Belarusian Railway) — near which the aviation munitions arsenal is located (2631st Aviation Base for Storage of Missile Weapons and Ammunition, military unit No. 94017), which is the only aviation ammunition arsenal in the republic.
The estimated volume of aviation munitions to be imported into Belarus will require at least two troop trains.
It should be noted that the 2631st Aviation Base for Storage of Missile Weapons and Ammunition, located at Prudok station, received the largest volume of Russian ammunition among all facilities in Belarus in 2024.
Of the total volume of ammunition delivered to Belarus in 2024 (161 railcars carrying explosive materials), deliveries to the specified aviation base via Prudok station accounted for 37.3%, or 60 railcars.
The arsenal located near Prudok station supplies all main (and reserve) military airfields of Belarus and is the only such facility in the country.

At present, it has not been possible to establish the departure stations of the Russian aviation munitions, their exact volume, or the departure date. If additional information is obtained, more detailed information about the volumes, senders and recipients of the specified cargo, as well as other details of this shipment, will be provided.
